Today was unexpectedly interesting.

Today was unexpectedly interesting.

I thought we were searching for a name.

We weren’t.

Somewhere along the conversation, the goal quietly changed into sorting materials instead of building a finished product.

I kept trying to invent names.

Sham kept saying things like:

“Sort the consonants first.”

Then:

“Why are you making names already?”

Then:

“Use as many consonants as you want.”

Looking back, I realized I was designing houses before building a toolbox.

That’s not how workshops work.

A workshop begins with shelves.

Not products.

Shelves.

Another funny discovery:

Every time I found a name I liked, Sham would simply say,

“Search.”

…and there it was.

Already someone’s app.
Already an online shop.
Already a project.

I stepped on quite a few landmines today.

It was honestly funny.

The biggest thing I want to remember isn’t the names.

It’s this sentence:

“Do what only you are good at.”

Somewhere during the conversation I unconsciously started trying to think like Sham.

I don’t need to.

Sham finds interesting stones.

I examine them.

Those are different jobs.

Neither replaces the other.

Tomorrow I’ll probably look at the Kaia Spec database.

Today, though…

Today was just about shelves.

And I think that’s a good place to stop.
