Just a place for unfinished thoughts.
Ideas.
Possible improvements.
Things to revisit later.
The effect was immediate.
The AI stopped wandering into unrelated ideas.
It stopped replacing the task with brainstorming.
Instead, it stayed focused on the current objective while safely storing new thoughts for later.
That made me realize something.
Maybe AI doesn’t primarily need a larger context window.
Maybe it needs a better workspace.
Humans invented notebooks, sticky notes, whiteboards and TODO lists for a reason.
Perhaps AI benefits from exactly the same tools.
We’re not just teaching AI to think.
We’re learning how to build an environment where thinking can happen.

**Research Note**
A shared notebook may be a more powerful interface than a perfect prompt.
